Rules

In Texas Hold'em players place bets on who will have the best hand at the end of the round, that player wins the pot.

To begin a round click on the "Ready" button. Players that do not click on the "Ready" button before the round begins sit out for that round.

Before cards are dealt 2 bets, called blinds are made. The player too the left of the dealer places the "Small Blind" and the player to the left of him places the "Big Blind".

All players are then dealt two cards face down. This is followed by a round of betting,beginning with the player to the left of the "Big Blind".

Under Limit betting rules players may either raise, call or fold. Raises must be equal to the "Big blind" for the first 2 rounds of betting.

Once everyone has called 3 common cards are dealt, called the "Flop", followed by another round of betting.

A 4th common card is then dealt, called the "Turn", followed by another round of betting. In this round raises must be in increments of double the big blind.

A 5th common card is then dealt, called the "River", followed by another round of betting. In this round raises are again increments of double the big blind.

Once all players have called or folded is the "Showdown", this is where players compare hands to see who won the pot. The winner is the player with the best 5-card hand using their two face down cards and the 5-common cards.

• Raises on the first two betting rounds must be equal to the Big Blind
• Raises on the last two betting rounds must be equal to the Double Big Blind
• Blinds are $2 and $4.
• Turn's have a 1 minute time limit to act, after that you will fold automatically. A warning comes up with 20 seconds left.
• A hand can start anytime 2 or more players have pushed "Ready"
